Mark is a serial business owner, builder and seller. Commencing business at age 19 he has started, grown  and successfully exited no less than 6 businesses and professional practices. Having been both a franchisor once and a franchisee twice he has a diverse range of knowledge in and out of the franchise sector.  With a strength in sales and financial services  Mark has operated at the very top of large salesforces with major brands including Prudential Assurance and Zurich Financial Services.

After much success in building and exiting his own businesses in 2009 Mark turned his hand to assisting others do the same.  He has since gone on to advise and successfully sell businesses for household names such as Coffee Club, Bridgestone Tyres, Aussie Mortgages, Mortgage Choice, Muffin Break, Gloria Jeans, Snap Fitness and many more. In the past 7 years Mark has successfully prepared exits and sold more than 50 businesses in every industry type

Nigel Hall. Partner. MBA, BA(hons), GAICD.

Nigel began his career with Ernst & Young in Germany working on four Merger and Acquisition (M&A) deals in the early 90s. He then moved into the start-up arena, with successful trade sale exits from 3 venture capital backed start-ups in biotech research tools (to Corning -1993), telco messaging services (Premiere Global-1997), and telco infrastructure (Telefonica -2002) in CFO, COO and CEO roles. During this period he was involved in 11 M&A deals. He has recently helped engineer exits in financial services, software services and construction sectors.

Since 2009 Nigel has worked in the Venture Capital industry, with a focus on clean technology and biotechnology investments in the Australian market. The fund has had several successful exits and maintains 4 current investments where Nigel is on the board of two of these. Nigel has also mentored over 50 early stage businesses and is an angel investor in 12 early stage businesses.
